Heat your oven to 425°F and bake tater tots for 28 minutes. Flip midway so they crisp up nicely.

Set the tater tots aside for a few moments until they’re cool enough to hold easily.

Push 4-6 tater tots onto wooden skewers, then lay them out on a baking sheet lined with parchment.

Sprinkle cheese, bacon bits, and part of the chopped green onions on the skewered tots.

Pop back in the oven for 5-7 minutes until the cheese melts and gets a bit bubbly.

Scatter the rest of the green onions over the top and pair with the sour cream before serving.
