Italian Crescent Dish (Print Version)

01 - 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
02 - 2 tablespoons melted butter
03 - 1 onion, chopped into fine pieces
04 - ½ cup sour cream
05 - 1 lb ground beef
06 - 8 oz shredded mozzarella
07 - ¼ cup parmesan, grated
08 - 1 cup marinara sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Cook the ground beef and finely chopped onion in a pan. When it's fully browned, strain any grease.
02 - Add marinara sauce into the beef mixture. Sprinkle in some salt and pepper to suit your taste. The filling is done.
03 - Stir sour cream and mozzarella together in a bowl until it’s smooth and creamy.
04 - In a 2 1/2 quart oven dish, spread the beef mixture for the bottom layer. Cover that with the cheese combo for the middle layer.
05 - Carefully stretch out the crescent dough and lay it over the entire surface of the cheese layer.
06 - Mix grated parmesan with the melted butter in a small dish. Brush or drizzle this all over the dough.
07 - Pop it in a 375°F oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the top turns golden brown and the filling is bubbling up nicely.
08 - Give the dish a few minutes to cool off before cutting and serving.
