Creamy Shrimp Dish (Print)

Flaky crust filled with shrimp, creamy cheese, and spicy pepper Jack. Rich flavor in every bite.

# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 1 thawed deep-dish pie crust (like Pillsbury™)

→ Filling

02 - 1/2 cup onion-chive cream cheese, softened
03 - 4 eggs, large
04 - 12 oz pre-cooked and defrosted shrimp, tails removed, chopped
05 - 1/2 cup shredded pepper Jack cheese

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F with a baking sheet inside. Allow the pie crust to sit out for 10-20 minutes. Poke holes with a fork in the bottom and sides. Place crust on the baking sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes until it has a light golden color.
02 - Whip the cream cheese until creamy. Mix in the eggs one by one, making sure each is blended well. Fold in the chopped shrimp and the shredded cheese.
03 - Pour the shrimp mixture into the partially baked crust. Put it back on the baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes. It's done when the middle is set and the top is lightly golden.
04 - Allow the pie to cool for about 15 minutes before slicing. This helps it hold together and makes it easier to serve.

# Notes:

01 - Dry the shrimp well to keep your filling from turning out soggy.
02 - Serve it as a hearty meal or slice it into small pieces for party snacks.
