→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound pasta (rigatoni or penne)
02 - 1 onion, finely chopped
03 - 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
04 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
05 - 1 pound ground beef
06 - 2 cups beef stock
07 - 3 minced garlic cloves
08 - 1 cup heavy cream
09 - Fresh basil leaves for topping
10 - Salt and black pepper, as needed

# Steps:

01 - Bring the pasta to a boil and let it simmer. Stir now and then until it's tender.
02 - In a big pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
03 - Add diced onion and garlic. Stir them around until softened.
04 - Pour in the can of crushed tomatoes and beef stock. Mix everything nicely.
05 - Mix in the Parmesan and cream till it's all smooth and blended.
06 - Sprinkle in salt and pepper. Throw in some basil on top before you serve.

# Notes:

01 - Heavy cream should go in at the end so it won't split.
02 - Stir the dish to stop pasta from sticking and help it cook evenly.
03 - Save extra pasta water to thin out the sauce later, if needed.
04 - Let dish sit a bit before eating—it’ll taste better!
