Creamy Banana Cheesecake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Crushed vanilla wafers: 1 1/2 cups.
02 - Butter, melted: 1/2 cup.
03 - Soft cream cheese: 16 oz.
04 - White sugar: 1 cup.
05 - Eggs, large: 2.
06 - Vanilla flavor: 1 teaspoon.
07 - Thick sour cream: 1/2 cup.
08 - Well-mashed bananas: 2.
09 - Banana-flavored instant pudding mix (3.4 oz): 1 pack.
10 - Chilled milk: 2 cups.
11 - Optional: whipped cream.
12 - Optional: Vanilla wafers for decoration.

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare an 8x8-inch pan by either greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
02 - Combine the melted butter with the crushed vanilla wafers in a bowl. Press this mix into the base of your prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes.
03 - Using a large bowl, whip together the sugar and soft cream cheese until smooth. Add the eggs one by one, stirring well after each. Mix in the sour cream and vanilla flavor next.
04 - Evenly pour the cheesecake mixture onto the pre-baked crust.
05 - Put it in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Once set, let it cool, then chill in the fridge for a couple of hours.
06 - Stir together the instant banana pudding mix and cold milk in a fresh bowl until it thickens. Smooth it over the chilled cheesecake layer.
07 - Top the dessert with whipped cream if you like, and decorate with extra vanilla wafers before slicing and plating.
