Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded hash brown potatoes, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, melted butter, ranch seasoning, cooked chicken, 3/4 cup cooked bacon, and 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.

Place the mixed ingredients into the prepared baking dish.

Top the casserole with the remaining 1/4 cup cooked bacon and 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
