Bright Cake Truffles (Print)

Bright Cake Truffles are cheerful and sweet, crafted with colorful cake bits wrapped in velvety white chocolate. Great for parties or a fun snack!

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 box of store-bought white cake mix (or your homemade version).
02 - Items needed for the cake mix (check the box for details).
03 - Assorted gel food dyes: purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red.
04 - 1/2 cup of butter, softened to room temperature.
05 - 2 cups of powdered sugar.
06 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence.
07 - About 2 tablespoons of milk (adjust to get the right texture).
08 - 2 cups of either white chocolate chips or candy melts.
09 - Optional: Sprinkles for decoration.

# Steps:

01 - Follow the instructions on the cake mix box to make the batter. Divide into six portions and mix each with one of the gel food colors: purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red.
02 - Pour each colored batter into separate pans and bake. Let all the layers cool before moving on.
03 - Crush the cooled colored cake pieces into small crumbs, keeping each color separate.
04 - In a big bowl, beat the butter so it’s creamy. Slowly add powdered sugar and vanilla while mixing. Add milk bit by bit for a smooth, spreadable frosting.
05 - Grab bits of crumbs from each color, squish them together into balls, and pop them on a lined tray.
06 - Put the tray of cake balls in the freezer to let them firm up, about 15-20 minutes.
07 - Microwave the white chocolate or candy melts in short bursts, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth and melted.
08 - Dip each colorful ball into the melted chocolate. Let the extra chocolate drip off. Sprinkle with decorations while the coating is still wet, if you want.
09 - Stick the coated truffles in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes, until the chocolate is completely set.
10 - Now's the time to dig in. These sweet little rainbow truffles are ready to brighten your day!

01 - These colorful cake bites are a cheerful addition to any event! With their fun colors and sweet flavors, they’re guaranteed to make people smile.
