Simple chocolate mousse (Print)

Rich, creamy chocolate mousse that’s quick to make with cottage cheese. It’s low on carbs and perfect for your sweet tooth!

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1-2 teaspoons sweetener (powdered, like monk fruit or erythritol)
02 - 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
03 - 1-2 tablespoons cocoa powder, unsweetened
04 - 1/2 cup cottage cheese (use full-fat)

→ Optional Add-ins

05 - A sprinkle of cocoa powder to top it off
06 - Berries (fresh) for a pop of color
07 - 1-2 tablespoons of melted dark chocolate

# Steps:

01 - Throw the cottage cheese, vanilla, cocoa, and sweetener into your blender or food processor. Blend it until it's creamy and smooth. Check the sides and push everything down with a spatula if needed.
02 - Melt some dark chocolate if you’re feeling fancy, and add that to your mixture. Blend again real quick to make it extra smooth and rich.
03 - Scoop the mousse into bowls or ramekins. Pop them into the fridge for at least half an hour. This makes it set and get a thicker texture.
04 - When you're ready to serve, sprinkle on cocoa powder, add a few berries, or throw on some chocolate shavings for that final flourish.

# Notes:

01 - Keep it in the fridge in a sealed container, and it'll stay good for up to 5 days.
02 - Want to treat yourself? Add some whipped cream or crushed nuts on top.
03 - Packed with protein and low on carbs, it’s a solid choice for keto or low-carb plans.
