Chocolate Chip Christmas (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 1/4 cups of plain flour.
02 - 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
04 - 1 cup of softened unsalted butter.
05 - 1 cup of packed brown sugar.
06 - 1/2 cup of white sugar.
07 - 2 eggs, large.
08 - 2 teaspoons of vanilla flavoring.
09 - 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet).
10 - 1/2 cup of holiday sprinkles or red & green M&M’s.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn on the oven to 350°F (175°C) and get a baking sheet ready with parchment paper on it.
02 - Take a medium bowl and stir together the flour, salt, and baking soda until blended.
03 - In a big mixing bowl, whip the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Crack in the eggs one at a time, mixing well as you go, then stir in the vanilla.
04 - Slowly mix the dry stuff with the creamy mixture until it's barely mixed. Gently fold in the chocolate chips along with sprinkles or holiday M&M’s.
05 - Scoop rounded spoons of dough onto the lined baking sheet, leaving a 2-inch gap between them. If you'd like, press extra sprinkles or M&M’s on top of each cookie.
06 - Pop them in the oven for 10-12 minutes, just until the edges turn golden. Let them cool down a little on the sheet before moving them to a rack.

# Notes:

01 - These soft and chewy chocolate chip treats are a fun way to share holiday happiness.
02 - Adding M&M’s or colorful sprinkles makes them super festive for Christmas get-togethers.
