Gooey Chocolate Butterscotch (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 stick of butter, softened.
02 - 1 cup of white sugar.
03 - Half a cup of brown sugar, packed tightly.
04 - Two eggs, large.
05 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
06 - 2 and 1/4 cups of plain flour.
07 - 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
08 - A pinch (1/2 tsp) of salt.
09 - 1 handful (1 cup) of chocolate chips.
10 - 1/2 cup of butterscotch pieces.

# Instructions:

01 - Beat the butter with both kinds of sugar until creamy and smooth in a large bowl.
02 - Stir in the eggs next, followed by the vanilla, and mix until everything looks even.
03 - Combine the salt, baking soda, and flour in a separate dish, making sure everything's mixed well.
04 - Slowly add the dry mix to the wet mixture bit by bit, and stir just until you don't see dry spots.
05 - Toss in the chocolate and butterscotch chips, and fold them gently into the dough.
06 - Wrap the dough and pop it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set it up.
07 - Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Scoop spoons of dough onto a baking tray and bake for 12-14 minutes till golden.
08 - After baking, move the cookies to cool a bit before placing them on a rack till fully chilled.
