Cheesecake Chocolate Chip Bars (Print)

Creamy cheesecake meets chocolate chip cookie dough in these irresistible bars. Each bite is bursting with rich, sweet flavors and a soft texture.

# Ingredients:

01 - 40 oz of pre-made chocolate chip cookie dough, chilled.
02 - 16 oz of softened cream cheese.
03 - 1 large egg, brought to room temperature.
04 - ¼ cup of plain white sugar.
05 - ½ tsp of vanilla flavoring.
06 - 1 tsp of lemon juice (optional, adds a tang).

# Steps:

01 - Turn the oven on to 350°F (175°C).
02 - Let the cookie dough sit in the freezer for a few hours so it's easier to cut.
03 - Cover a 13x9" baking pan with non-stick foil or parchment paper.
04 - Slice half the dough into ¼" rounds and press it all over the bottom of your pan. Bake it for 10 minutes.
05 - Whisk together the cream cheese, egg, sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice (optional) until completely smooth. Evenly spread it over the partially baked crust.
06 - Cut the remaining cookie dough into slices and place them on top of the cheesecake mix.
07 - Pop it back in the oven for 35-40 minutes until the top looks golden and the middle has set.
08 - Cool your dessert fully, then refrigerate for a while before cutting and enjoying.
