01 - 2 1/2 tablespoons oil
02 - 2 pounds chuck steak, cubed
03 - 1 large onion, chopped
04 - 1 large bell pepper, chopped
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 tablespoon tomato paste
07 - 2 large tomatoes, diced
08 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
09 - 1 teaspoon salt
10 - 1/2 teaspoon pepper
11 - 1 teaspoon ground cumin
12 - 1 teaspoon chili powder
13 - 2 cups beef broth

# Steps:

01 - Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until translucent. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
02 - Add the cubed chuck steak to the pot and brown on all sides. Add the chopped bell peppers and cook for 2 minutes until softened.
03 - Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute. Add the diced tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes.
04 - Add the all-purpose flour and cook until heated through. Gradually pour in beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps.
05 - Season with salt, pepper, ground cumin, and chili powder. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally and adding water if necessary to maintain consistency.
06 - Once the beef is tender, serve warm and garnish with fresh chopped cilantro if desired.
