Use an espresso machine or a stovetop espresso maker to brew your espresso. Strong coffee can work too if you make about 4 ounces of it.

Heat your chosen milk and then froth it until it’s foamy. You can use a whisk, milk frother, or the steam wand on an espresso machine.

Pour the vanilla syrup into your cup first, then add the foamy milk.

Carefully pour the espresso over the milk foam so it forms a little ‘spot’ on the top.

Drizzle caramel sauce along the edges of the cup in two loops, then make a crisscross pattern in the center.
