Croissant Sandwiches (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Spread Ingredients

01 - 2 tbsp salted butter
02 - 2 tbsp honey
03 - 2 tbsp dijon mustard

→ Sandwich Components

04 - 4 croissants, large
05 - 8 slices of cheese (cheddar, gouda, or baby swiss)
06 - Half a pound of thin ham slices (from deli)
07 - 8 strips of cooked bacon

→ Egg Mixture

08 - 5 eggs, large
09 - A dash of milk
10 - Salt and pepper to taste
11 - 1 tbsp butter, softened
12 - Optional: chopped fresh chives for decorating

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 350°F to get it ready.
02 - Stir together the honey, butter, and mustard in a small container. Microwave for about 20 seconds so the butter melts, then stir again to blend it well.
03 - Using a serrated knife, cut croissants in half lengthwise. Spread the honey butter mixture generously over the flat insides.
04 - Start with a slice of cheese on one croissant half, then add ham, bacon, and another cheese slice. Place the top of the croissant back on and set it all on a baking tray.
05 - Bake in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes. They’re ready when the cheese is gooey and the croissants have that perfect golden touch.
06 - While the sandwiches bake, beat the eggs with the milk, salt, and pepper. Warm up a nonstick pan on medium heat and melt some butter. Pour in the eggs and cook them gently, stirring until just softly cooked—takes 2 or 3 minutes.
07 - When the croissants are out of the oven, pile some scrambled eggs onto each sandwich. For a finishing touch, sprinkle fresh chives if you like.

# Notes:
