02 - 1 cup white sugar.
03 - 2 eggs, large.
04 - 1/2 cup regular flour.
05 - 1/3 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened.
06 - 1/4 teaspoon fine salt.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring.
08 - 1/2 cup butter, melted completely.
09 - 1/2 cup sugar, granulated.
10 - 1/2 cup sugar, packed, brown.
11 - 1 large egg, room temp.
12 - 1 teaspoon vanilla essence.
13 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
14 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
15 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
16 - 1 cup chocolate chunks or chips.

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a square 9x9 baking pan with parchment or grease it well.
02 - Combine melted butter with sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Mix in eggs one at a time till smooth. Gently stir in the flour, salt, and cocoa till everything comes together. Spread evenly in the prepared tin.
03 - Cream soft butter, both sugars (granulated and brown) until fluffy. Add vanilla and egg, stirring completely. Mix in soda, a bit of salt, and the flour. Once done, fold the chocolate chips into the mix.
04 - Spoon dollops of the cookie dough on top of the brownie mixture, then gently even it all out.
05 - Bake for 25-30 minutes. Once golden on top and a toothpick has just a few crumbs, pull it out.
06 - Let everything cool completely before slicing it into squares.

# Notes:

01 - Cut only after everything has cooled to keep them from falling apart.
02 - The soft cookie layer and fudgy brownie make an amazing mix of textures.
