Warm Brie in Pastry (Print)

Flaky layered pastry hugs creamy brie, sweetened with fig and honey, sprinkled with prosciutto. An easy entertaining dish.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry.
02 - A 8-12 oz round of brie cheese.
03 - 1 beaten egg for sealing.
04 - 1-2 tbsp of fig jam.
05 - 1-2 tbsp of honey.
06 - Fresh thyme, about a tablespoon.
07 - 4-8 slices of prosciutto.
08 - Coarse sugar to sprinkle on top.

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 425°F. Roll out pastry and lay the brie in the middle. Lightly cut slits into the top of the cheese.
02 - Spread the fig jam, drizzle the honey on top, sprinkle thyme, and add some cracked pepper if you'd like. Cover with prosciutto slices.
03 - Fold the pastry over the cheese, making sure to seal all edges tightly.
04 - Paint the pastry with beaten egg and add a little coarse sugar on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until it turns a nice golden color.

01 - Eat warm alongside crackers or slices of bread.
02 - Bake right before serving for the best taste.
