Tater Tot Casserole (Print)

Layers of beef, creamy mushroom, gooey cheese, and crunchy tots come together for the ultimate comfort meal.

# Ingredients:

→ Primary Ingredients

01 - 1 pack (32 oz) frozen tater tots
02 - 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded (split)
03 - ½ cup sour cream
04 - 1 small onion, chopped
05 - 1 lb ground beef
06 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

→ Spices and Seasonings

07 - Add salt and pepper as needed
08 - Optional: paprika, garlic powder, or other favorite flavors

# Steps:

01 - Turn your oven on to 375°F (190°C).
02 - Cook the ground beef with the onions, toss in seasoning, and drain off any grease.
03 - Combine the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream with the cooked beef in the skillet. Heat it up.
04 - In a greased casserole dish, layer the beef mixture, sprinkle on 1 cup of cheese, then arrange a layer of tater tots.
05 - Put the dish in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the tater tots look golden and crispy. Add the rest of the cheese on top, and bake for 5 more minutes.

01 - Top with green onions or parsley. Try adding bacon bits or Worcestershire sauce to boost the taste.
