Set your oven to 375°F and get a baking tray. Either line it with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Stir together your flour, sugar, baking powder, spices (cinnamon and nutmeg), and salt in a big mixing bowl. Make sure there are no lumps!

In a new bowl, mix the eggs, butter, milk, and vanilla until smooth and well combined.

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir carefully until it's just combined—don’t overdo it. Add in the apple pieces gently at the end.

Spoon out scoops of batter onto your prepared baking tray. Leave some space (about 2 inches) between them. Bake for around 14–16 minutes, or until golden brown.

While they cool a bit, whip together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. This is your glaze.

Drizzle the glaze over the fritters while they're still warm. Wait a few minutes for it to set, then dig in!
