Crispy Haddock Fillets (Print)

Haddock fillets coated in crunchy Parmesan and herbed panko breadcrumbs, made lighter in the air fryer. A great choice over traditional frying.

# Ingredients:

→ Fish and Coating

01 - 4 fillets of haddock
02 - Half a cup of panko crumbs
03 - Half a cup of Parmesan cheese, shredded
04 - 1 or 2 tablespoons of mayo
05 - A tablespoon of olive oil

→ Seasonings

06 - A tablespoon of parsley, dried
07 - Two teaspoons of dill, dried
08 - Half a teaspoon of garlic powder
09 - Half a teaspoon of paprika
10 - Salt, to your taste
11 - Pepper, to your liking
12 - Lemon slices for serving

# Steps:

01 - Heat your air fryer up to 400°F. Use paper towels to pat the haddock fillets dry.
02 - In a medium-sized bowl, toss together panko, Parmesan, parsley, dill, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
03 - Spread mayo over both sides of the fillets. Press them gently into the panko mixture so it sticks, then brush or drizzle olive oil on top.
04 - Arrange the fillets in your air fryer, leaving enough room around each piece. Cook at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, until the fish flakes with a fork and the breading is perfectly crispy.
05 - Carefully take the fish out and serve while it’s hot, with lemon slices on the side.

# Notes:

01 - The internal temperature should read 145°F.
02 - Make sure the air fryer isn’t overcrowded.
03 - If the haddock has skin, cook it skin-side down.
